Last year at Dreamforce, we acknowledged that our customers and partners were voicing a critical need for more skilled architects in the Salesforce Partner Ecosystem. That’s why we created the Architect Success Program—made for architects, by architects—to help build multi-cloud expertise and supercharge ecosystem capabilities. By growing the number of more skilled architects, it will in turn provide continued excellence in expert service to our customers.
The increasing demand for architects in the Salesforce ecosystem is no small matter. In fact, need is up 41% since last year. As Salesforce works toward its goal of creating 4.2 million jobs by 2024, it’s imperative that training is available to set partners on the right path.
“We’ve made it a priority to develop thorough curricula to help our partners build their Salesforce skills,” said Tyler Prince, EVP of Alliances & Channels. "We are always looking for new and innovative ways to work with our partners in support of our customers, and the Architect Success Program is another example of how we are doing that."
Introducing the Architect Success Program
The Architect Success Program trains future architects to deliver multi-cloud expert service to our customers and fill the identified talent gap. We’ve united the full power of Salesforce to introduce architect-made, use case curricula that enables learners to discover implementation best practices to drive customer success and hone new multi-cloud expertise focused on delivery guidance. The corresponding courses are created through the Architect Success Program overarching initiative and are focused on three key domains:
- B2C Solution Architect Program
- B2B Solution Architect Program
- Enterprise Architect Program
Courses are being released monthly and can be found in Partner Learning Camp, an exclusive learning platform curated for partners. Be sure to take a look at the B2C Solution Architect curriculum, as well.
Meeting the Need
As the demand for Salesforce skills increases, the need for architects is especially great— and the job market is vast. Salesforce development careers are consistently ranked among top jobs, many of which earn six-figure salaries. Plus, architects are well regarded across the ecosystem, as 98% of customers give an “A” rating to engagements leveraging architects.
