Net-new talent in the Salesforce partner ecosystem is a priority for the Salesforce Talent Alliance. But sometimes, partners are hesitant to hire net-new talent. It’s usually due to the misconception that net-new hires take a long time to learn the ropes.

Check out rising star Harry Wang and Talent Alliance Partner Revolent

Harry began his career as a network engineer at an internet service provider. But he saw an opportunity to expand his skillset and try a new role when a developer position became available. The issue: he needed to become proficient in JavaScript.

While doing internet research, Harry discovered Revolent. He was blown away by its available Salesforce product training, certifications, cross-skilling opportunities, and client-facing work.

Revolent is a valued Salesforce partner that attracts and hires net-new talent in the ecosystem. Over the past year and a half, Revolent brought in more than 50 net-new hires in Australia and plans to onboard an additional 300 over the next six months. The Revolent careers program connects enthusiastic IT professionals, like Harry, with Salesforce partners and customers who need Salesforce talent.

Through the Revolent career program, incoming talent are trained, Salesforce-certified, and then work with Revolent’s clients for two years. Afterwards they can permanently stay with the company. To quickly onboard new, valuable team members, also known as Revols, the training focuses on real-world application of their Salesforce knowledge. This includes initiatives like LaunchPad Week, where teams create custom solutions for charities and nonprofits at no cost.

Harry’s group worked with Coeliac Australia to automate website directories through a Salesforce Lightning component. The Coeliac Foundation was blown away by the Revols problem-solving and contributions!

“This was an initiative that we’ve been wanting to introduce for several years and included a lot of work. The team at Revolent were very professional...and did a great job at visualizing our ideas and desires and bringing them to life” –Maria Jonsson, Coeliac Australia.

With Revolent growing its net-new talent and Harry reskilling to become a developer there, it’s fair to say that this partner firm’s career program is taking its team to new heights.
