It’s the old chicken and egg scenario–employers prefer job seekers with hands-on experience. But how can entry-level job seekers get hands-on experience if nobody hires them? This used to be a rhetorical question, but we now have an answer through the Salesforce Talent Alliance Fellowship.

The Salesforce Talent Alliance Fellowship is a partnership between Salesforce and K2 to provide job seekers–with an emphasis on underrepresented groups in tech–12 weeks of paid, hands-on work experience. Fellows are hosted by Salesforce partners and customers who are committed to grow and diversify their talent pipelines. We’re proud to announce our inaugural cohort of fellowship sponsors: Accenture, The CRM Firm, HIKE2, J2 Interactive, Mountain Point, Ness Digital Engineering, Platinum Cubed, Quantum Rhino, Redpath Consulting, Soliant Consulting, and Salesforce's Customer Success Group. These forward-looking partners lead the way in talent innovation, and we’re glad to build the Salesforce ecosystem alongside them. Hear directly from these partners here.

Building talent couldn’t be more important right now. For one, the Salesforce ecosystem is growing exponentially. The International Data Corporation (IDC) predicts that by 2026, the Salesforce Economy will create 9.3M new jobs. It’s going to take a village, in fact, a global Salesforce ecosystem, to collaboratively train and hire this new generation of Salesforce professionals.

And as we’re building this next generation, we must purposefully work to diversify our talent pipelines. A recent McKinsey study showed that more gender-diverse companies are 21% more likely to outperform their peers, and those that are ethnically diverse are 33% more likely to outperform them. The business case is clear, and diversity is a foundational element to the Talent Alliance Fellowship. We work closely with workforce development organizations like Pathfinder to recruit a diverse pipeline of fellows. Over 90% of fellows in our pilot come from backgrounds underrepresented in tech, including women and Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC).

The Talent Alliance Fellowship is a win-win. Job seekers land 12 weeks of paid experience and professional connections, and employers land quality candidates that broaden their talent pipelines. Is your organization ready to join the likes ofAccenture, The CRM Firm, HIKE2, J2 Interactive, Mountain Point, Ness Digital Engineering, Platinum Cubed, Quantum Rhino, Redpath Consulting, Soliant Consulting, and Salesforce's Customer Success Group?
