Did you know that companies who have built a racially diverse workforce are 35% more likely to gain higher financial returns above their respective national industry medians?* Bringing together a melting pot of different races, religions, abilities, and more allows us to acknowledge different perspectives that would otherwise be missed.

At Salesforce, we feel the need for change in industry hiring practices deep in our bones. Equality is a core value of ours and we are working towards creating impact for our employees, customers, and partners.  The Salesforce Talent Alliance is our initiative to work with partners in taking the pledge to diversify their workforce and our ever-expanding ecosystem.

The Salesforce Talent Alliance connects partners to a diverse set of Salesforce candidates, bringing new talent into the ecosystem from around the globe. Here’s how:

1. Commit: Partners commit to hire net new Salesforce professionals and incorporate inclusive hiring practices.

2. Certify: Job seekers are trained to become Salesforce certified professionals, with an emphasis on underrepresented groups in tech (ex. Black, Latinx, Indigenous, Multiracial, LGBTQ+, people with disabilities, veterans, and military spouses).

3. Connect: Partners are connected to certified candidates across workforce development groups, educational institutions, and career changers through LinkedIn and career fairs.

Check Out Support and Resources for Talent Alliance Members

We support Talent Alliance members by connecting them with workforce development groups that are training up new and diverse Salesforce talent pipelines. Each month we host a Spotlight Webinar featuring one such organization.

In the series debut, Revolent—a global organization that recruits, trains, and places Salesforce talent in the ecosystem—spoke about their “Revols” ( certified Salesforce talent) and how employers can benefit from their flexible and diverse talent pipeline.

Our next spotlight is taking place on September 23rd at 2PM PT which will feature Heather Black, founder of Supermums, and new university curriculum resources available to help get Salesforce into local classrooms and build the next generation of ecosystem talent. Be sure to register here!

Take the Talent Alliance Pledge Today

“Be the change you wish to see in the world.”  — Mahatma Gandhi

Over 170 partners have already pledged since the program’s launch in early July, and if you haven’t already, we encourage your organization to take the pledge to become part of the Talent Alliance. In the words of Mahatma Gandhi, “Be the change you wish to see in the world.” Together in partnership, we’ll do just that by skilling up and hiring new, diverse talent and  setting the standard for the employment practices of tomorrow.
