Start with the basics: What is a Salesforce Architect?

Salesforce Architects connect the dots between business, operations, and IT. They deliver solutions that empower both IT and business stakeholders to drive transformation and growth at scale. Being a Salesforce Enterprise Architect means you solve complex, large-scale customer challenges to produce secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions that maximize the full potential of the Salesforce Platform.

Why partners should pursue an Architect career path

Architects are critical to the success of digital transformation projects, with a unique skill set to tackle the most complex challenges and produce the best solutions. Salesforce architects are the key technical advisors who partner with business leaders and experts to analyze requirements, envision solutions, and design innovative business solutions with the Salesforce platform.

Salesforce platform flexibility, rich features and continuous innovations are unique challenges that architects need to consider in any solution design. This is evident with the rapid pace of innovations in the Salesforce platform. In the following courses, architects can gain a high level understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, products, and key capabilities and practices.
