Salesforce partners can now earn the new Accredited Professional (AP) credential in Partner Learning Camp (PLC) to prove their Net Zero Cloud expertise.

Who should take the new Net Zero Cloud AP credential?
This brand-new credential is for Salesforce partners with the knowledge, skills, and experience to implement Net Zero Cloud. It validates that you can deliver positive sustainability outcomes with customers using Net Zero Cloud features and capabilities.
Although prerequisites aren’t required to take this credential, product experts recommend that you earn Salesforce certifications like Administrator, Advanced Administrator, TableauCRM and Einstein Discovery Consultant, Experience Cloud Consultant, or Platform App Builder. The skills needed to pass the Net Zero Cloud AP exam include understanding a customer's data and how it fits into a specific methodology; data analytics and analysis; and the ability to recommend the best structure and solutions for your customers.
About the Net Zero Cloud AP exam
The Net Zero Cloud exam has three key sections:
- Discovery: The first section of the exam tests your knowledge in conducting discovery with your customers. This includes identifying use case solutions, gathering business requirements, and accurately determining Net Zero Cloud calculation needs.
- Design: In the second section, given customer requirements, you’ll determine a user experience (UX) design and configure analytics. Then, you’ll establish the design approval processes, connect external data sources, and migrate data into Net Zero Cloud.
- Implementation: In the final stage, you’ll configure a Net Zero Cloud solution in a use case scenario. This includes implementing settings, standard platform features, analytics, and more. This scenario tests your ability to map customer requirements and data to Net Zero Cloud functionality.

Wait, I already earned the Net Zero Cloud AP. What does this mean for me?
If you previously earned the Net Zero Cloud AP credential, you must pass the new Net Zero Cloud exam to maintain your credential, which expires two years from the date you earned it. To keep your AP credential, you can do one of the following:
- Maintain your credential now: Complete the curriculum in PLC to prepare for the new Net Zero Cloud exam. If the curriculum is completed before March 17, 2023, you’ll automatically receive a free voucher to take the AP exam. Your credential will be valid for two years from the earned date.
- Renew your credential when it’s up for expiration: All AP credentials expire two years from earned date and must be maintained in PLC. Since there’s a new exam for Net Zero Cloud, to keep your credential, you’ll need to schedule and pay for the full exam cost ($150 USD).
