A recent study from Valoir, a research firm that focuses on the relationship between people and technology, found that Accredited Professional (AP) credentials deliver value for Salesforce partners and, ultimately, customer success.

Valoir found that, with AP credentials, partners can better position themselves to prospects and Salesforce account executives. The depth of Salesforce capabilities gained from AP credentials allow them to compete in the marketplace. Smaller partners say that AP credentials help them stand out in the deal cycle.

 

Increased depth of expertise
The increased depth of expertise gained through curricula and exam prep helps partners effectively communicate and deliver to customers. Alongside project work, the training gives partners a deep knowledge level of specific product functions and features. Valoir found that skills in cloud products, like Service Cloud Voice, allows partners to deliver nuanced, niche solutions. With AP credentials, consultants lead complex projects, which allows their practice to bid for opportunities.

Valoir found that partners favor the availability of credentials for new products. Partners come up to speed as new products are released with AP credentials. This means partners can skill up and prove to customers that they’re ready for projects.

Partners say that the process for prepping for AP credentials helps them develop faster.
